Studio Space
Our connection to the Valsolda region grew stronger and stronger over the past 10 years, and so did the conviction that we wanted to establish an "open house" in the region.
By the end of 2020 we were lucky to have found the perfect spot in Castello di Valsolda.
Besides our love for the house and grounds we hope to give artists the possibility to be part of our inspiring atmosphere. It is our aim to create a space of interaction, experience, and creativity.
What we offer
Accommodations
Free accommodations in our "artist's wing". The accommodations are simple, clean, and come with their own bathroom. Hopefully, during your stay this will be your sanctuary.
Studio Space
We have several work spaces that can be used for work. They are not pre-equipped. Depending on your needs, we will work out together, which spaces suit you best.
House and Grounds
The house has different floors and levels. Some are raw and need work and fine tuning, others are fully prepared to live in. The grounds are extensive featuring vines and many fruit trees. You are welcome to use all amenities of the house and its grounds.
Exhibiting
We offer to exhibit your work during "La Festa di Castello". The festival takes place once a year in the fall and attracts many visitors. Exhibiting is non-compulsory. Exhibition and sales are in the hands of the individual artists.
